Headspace is the Youth Mental Health Foundation of Australia with centres all over Australia – we are the Hawthorn centre in Inner Eastern Melbourne. Great experience as always with headspace. receptionists are lovely and accommodating, dr. Mey is really nice and has been really helpful with general advice as well as pointing out good services to go to for more specialised issues!
I came in for the first time ever today and everyone was so lovely and very helpful for me xxx
I was so nervous before the appointment but the person taking me (eisha) was lovely. They not only did my assessment but made me feel as comfortable as possible, and made me trust them which allowed me to be my true self. Although this was assessment I felt as free as possible to talk. Pls go to hawthorn headspace.
Gave me more trauma, took years to see another psychologist and now have to unpack my psychologist trauma from this place.
headspace Hawthorn have been amazing during covid-19 by being so willing to provide a relevant and valuable online presentation for my university club. Our members really resonated with the talk and had some wonderful feedback. The staff were professional, yet relatable for the university demographic. They provided so much great insight into mental health awareness, which was all adapted to the current situation. I am really looking forward to collaborating with them in the future!!
