I wanted a place for a simple cut, but with a professional stylist, cozy vibe without pressure of an upsell, or a super busy salon. It was so calm and relaxing and was the perfect vibe! Rose did a great job and was the perfect balance of friendly and kind without being over chatty (introverts rejoice!). Definitely will be returning!

Headspace beauty lounge is THE best salon in the Lansing area! The women who work here are so smart and incredibly attentive down to every detail, everyone is so nice and makes you feel comfortable. The studio is so aesthetically pleasing and clean; it instantly takes away any stress, especially when greeted by goose the puppy. Was asked if I wanted a shampoo and I said it didn't matter (thinking she'd spray it with water). Instead, she straightened it and cut it dry, then curled it at the end, so of course it looked good when I left, however now that it's had a chance to dry naturally it does not lay well at all. I've never had a haircut where it's not cut wet, so you can see how it will lay naturally. I also asked for layers and there's really none at all.
