Was asked if I wanted a shampoo and I said it didn't matter (thinking she'd spray it with water). Instead, she straightened it and cut it dry, then curled it at the end, so of course it looked good when I left, however now that it's had a chance to dry naturally it does not lay well at all. I've never had a haircut where it's not cut wet, so you can see how it will lay naturally. I also asked for layers and there's really none at all.

Every time I go there, my hair feels so silky and smooth. Not only is the aesthetic and atmosphere amazing, the employees are really kind. If you want to go to a beauty salon while your in Lansing, i recommend The Headspace. Sincerely, Vivian

Headspace Beauty Lounge is truly a gem! My daughter had a little mishap with scissors over the weekend, and with her very curly hair I was nervous about finding the right person to fix it. Jay C was absolutely amazing—she not only evened everything out beautifully, but also made us both feel so comfortable and happy to be there. I've lived in Lansing for 5 years and have been searching for a hair stylist. Some experiences have been decent and some have not---but I'd not yet been able to find someone I was happy with---until now. Jacey cut my hair this week. She took one look, felt its heft, its texture, and its post menopausal curls. I gave her total creative license to do whatever she thought was the best cut for my hair and face shape.
