I absolutely love the people working at Headspace Albany, I probably wouldn't be here if not for the services they provided to me as a struggling young person. The staff were friendly to me, showed no judgement toward my circumstances and were very understanding of the support I was after and did their best to provide it. They really did show genuine care for me as a person. I had come here a number of times to support friends and family, and also to attend counseling sessions to understand better what service was being provided. The staff are kind, patient, and hard working. As a straight white male I had in no way been looked down on, or asked to believe in anything I do not believe in. I know that life would be a lot harder if Headspace Albany was not helping, and I hope more people begin to see the services and support Headspace provides.
