In my opinion Headon Forest Animal Hospital is likely the best animal hospital in Burlington. I've been to quite a few and only feel that this team truly cares about their furry patients. I highly recommend them.
Absolutely amazing staff and an outstanding experience! I brought my girl in because I was concerned about hives on her neck, and from the moment we arrived, I felt heard, supported, and genuinely cared for. The team took the time to spend an entire hour going over a plan of action, answering every single one of my questions—even the ones I thought might be silly. WARNING: If your animal needs X-rays do NOT spend the 3k here. They will most likely refer you to the Mississauga Oakville Emergency to REDO X-rays because they do not have the specialty to see most things. I got a shrug, a bunch of useless drugs and a dog 2 months later with the same problems and now I have to spend 3k to re-do x-rays. We’ve been going to Headon Forest Animal Hospital for over 15 years now with all our animals and I’ve realized I’ve never left a review! They are the best and friendliest staff I’ve ever met and always take such amazing care of our pets! I always trust their opinions and recommendations for our animals and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vet. Headon Forest has been my dogs’ vet clinic for four years now. Everyone at Headon Forest is knowledgeable, professional and friendly…and each has a wonderful sense of humour. I’m exceedingly happy with the staff because they treat my dogs so well, easily and gently handling my Irish Wolfhound, my one-eyed Great Pyrenees and my (late) Lab mix.
