Brenda was the worst counselor I've ever had. She was short and rude to me in session. I asked her for encouragement and she kept repeating in a mean tone "I don't know what God's will is for your life." I honestly want a refund.
Tom Coker is a very pour counselor. He lakes understanding. For example when a couples nervous system gets this regulated and they go into fight or flight mode he will take the side of the person that shuts down vs the person that expresses concern. Overall he has a very limited range of abilities and I absolutely do not recommend him. Also, be aware in couples counseling you do NOT have privacy he will share his notes with 3rd parties.
My experience with Head to Heart and Brenda Ramsey has been very helpful and transformative. From first introduction, Brenda has been so easy to talk with, her compassion and insight making every session a valuable one. Brenda counsels and ministers with wisdom and a sincere heart. She has guided me through recognizing patterns and achieving breakthroughs I wouldn't have thought possible with her gentle but direct approach.I’m incredibly grateful for the work she does and the heart she pours into every session.
Head To Heart is a truly life changing group of Christian leaders. The growth in our relationship, and tools we have gained to use together as a team have been a blessing to us. Brenda is such a great listener and an excellent voice of reason when it comes to all relationship questions/opinions. We look forward to our sessions with her each week, and pray that you are able to use Head to Heart for your relational growth.
We met with Brenda twice for couples related Christian counseling . She was kind and had a few insightful things to say. Otherwise, she started pushing us to do a temperament test, although phrasing it as optional. We told her we would like to wait since my husband lost his job. She understood it seemed.
