HDS Stoneworks is horrible I used HDS for granite countertops in our kitchen. They have a wonderful selection and the customer service is excellent - up front anyway. However, the installers were unprofessional and upon leaving stole our copper plumbing that was in the backyard. Then I noticed the countertop was crooked on the cabinets and the sink was only partially installed. I called several people at HDS and got the run around. HDS Stoneworks Remodel Be very careful with this business: 1. I provided measurements and tried to get them to come and measure, but they claimed they were too busy and not to worry because it would be very close. Well it turned out to be $600 difference and I had already paid. So, get a firm bid up-front prior to giving them any money. 2. Material chosen "showroom" example for backsplash is Floor and Décor material - low grade. 3. Edges on all counter tops were wavy - rub your hand down the edge and you feel too much varia... read more
HDS did a great job I was hesitant to use HDS stoneworks for my kitchen countertop because of some reviews I read here. But I chose them for two reasons: 1) They have the best prices in town and 2) They were the only ones to carry the granite I liked. Harry and Cindy provided us with excellent customer service from beginning to end of the job. Harry was very prompt in taking care of our concerns. The granite slab we selected had a brown spot as a pattern which I did not like. So I requested Harry to not have it at least on m... read more
HDS Stoneworks offers great pricing and selection. I was referred to HDS by a friend after purchasing a home which badly needed a kitchen remodel. Luckily, I was able to fit granite countertops into the budget by calling HDS. They carried a nice selection of colors, and offered a variety of stainless sinks, which was included in the price. Installation went well, although one piece was cut a little short. After a phone call to HDS, they took care of the problem by installing a new piece that fit correctly. Beware of bait n switch HDS had the selection, price and "supposed" expertise we were looking for. We even paid to have laser measurements taken. Don't waste your money on the laser scam. Measurements would be more accurate by hand. Harry measured our peninsula and promised an equal reveal all around the peninsula as the rest of the kitchen. but when the installers arrived the granite was not wide enough for even a standard reveal on either side. Debbie I seriously wonder who the others reviewers are. My experience was 100% perfect! I work in real estate and I have lots of contractors who will give me a good price and do a good job...but I chose Cindy & Harry for my 4 bathroom large bathroom vanities. They did such a professional job that I used them for my Mothers kitchen...She is very picky and we wanted to cut down her breakfast bar to make it counter height..they were 100% perfect in every way.
