This company is a complete scam. Noticed an increase in the bill, the customer service representative told us " as per terms and conditions, the company gives an increase every 12 months". Facts: we have lived in the house for over 16 months, no notice of increase was given and the rate of increase wasn't communicated as well as the effective date. Absolute scam company. They say you have a contract but you really don't. So those of you who think you have one ask for a copy. They will send you terms and conditions and copy and paste your information making it look like you are locked in. Also when you do get a customer representive they talk you in circles.
Aswathy, why are you neglecting an elderly couple to get their hot water turned on? My in-laws (71 and 72 years old) have just moved into a new house and the hot water isn't working. It's the middle of winter and you're refusing services. My in-laws want to sign all the documents, but you're asking them to print a document and send info before you will provide services. Why don't you get a technician to bring the paperwork so they can sign everything and get hot water
This company is a pure scam. They have contracts with the builders who build the houses and trick home buyers into thinking that paying for a water heater monthly is worth it when it's not. They end up locking home owners into a 15 year contract which ends up being over $10K for the water heater that you could purchase from Rona, or Home Depot for $650-$1000.00. Oh and the cherry on top is that they force you to give them your credit card info so they can take the payments from you with absolutely no other option to pay the ... read more
