I went to the ER in Palm Harbor for a broken rib, and was in and out of the facility in 90 minutes. I was charged $33,000 between the CT Scan, bloodwork and facility fee. In my estimation, and others in the medical field, this is price gauging. I contacted the hospital and refused to review the costs. They have no interest in listening to customers as long as their profits are high. I have also submitted a complaint to the State Attorney General's office.
