We arrived at the TMCA Emergency Department around 8:00 p.m. on July 9, 2025, for a medical emergency involving my minor niece. Despite the urgent nature of her condition, communication from staff was almost nonexistent. We spent the entire night in a cold, cramped room with uncomfortable chairs, without updates or guidance. I had an appointment at 9am today at Swedish Family Medicine located at 601E. Hampden Ave., Englewood. I pulled in or rather attempted to pull into the from of the building to use Valet Srv.and there was NO Valet around anywhere. What was around were dumb drivers who felt their needs came before anyone and blocked anyone coming in from Hampden and why you ask?? NO VALET!! I was recently diagnosed with a brain aneurysm and was referred to Dr. Ian Kaminsky at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood. This was going to be the very first surgery I have ever had in my life so to say I was terrified is an understatement. Everyone from the Doctor, the anesthesiologist, the techs and all of the nurses & staff were phenomenal in calming my fears and making sure that all of my questions were answered. Today we went to the ER here, at 6:15 am. There was no one at the desk when we walked in to the building. The sign on the reception said “ring the bell and someone would be out to take care of us”. No one ever showed or indicated there was anyone in the ER! I waited 15 minutes until I called them on my cell phone. A male nurse answered the phone and said we have a lot going on back here we will be with you when we have time. 20 minutes later a nurse coming onto her shift entered the building and took us back. I would of said great hospital prior to 2017. In 2017 i went yo the ER at north suburban, I had kidney stones both kidneys, kidney infection and severe sepsis. The urologist was abrupt only put one stent in, they rush me out of hospital and ended up back in for same thing two weeks later. I was very drugged up on narcotics, fall risk and nurse failed to assist me going to rest room. I fell backwards hitting my back and neck on the bed and my head on the floor. Sky Ridge charged $47,415.50 for a routine colonoscopy with upper GI. They are over priced, over charging insurance companies and patients!!!!!!! Find some place less expensive.

They have a great staff, from the Valet to the Dr's and Nurses to the EVS team and the food service was great also they all made my daughter's stay with her new born baby girl a wonderful experience. Thanks Rose Medical Center For Everything 🎀🎀🎀
