I went here after choking on some food and having food lodged in my throat and aspirated into my lungs. First, if you have a real emergency, like difficulty breathing as I did, do not go here. Go to a real ER. They lacked the necessary equipment to remove food from my trachea and lungs or they refused to do so. I was choking and the doctor though the best course of action was to run a test for strep throat, do blood tests for heart attack and blood clots as well as a cbc. It made zero sense. I visited the emergency room at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Fort Myers just a day ago with my son, who was experiencing ear pain, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hospital experiences I’ve ever had.
