This review is based on what I was billed for. I had an avulsion on my finger, and the nail was cauterized. I am being billed almost $2,700 for burning my fingernail and for two ibuprofen tablets. I was told during registration that my insurance would cover this, which was untrue. This is price gouging at its finest.

Sophie from radiology was amazing, Nicole was really sweet and awesome, Dr Johnson was very sweet and explained everything. I felt like I was really cared for and they really cared about me and helping me feel better!

Update- 9-22-25. 6:30am- returned to HCA this morning. I have a bad ear ache, bad sore throat, feel badly etc. Kyle and other nurses were great. I’m battling breast cancer and prior heart attack so I try to stay on top of allowing any virus to take hold on my weak immune system. Doctor seemed a bit abrupt and short. Now at 5:30 pm my throat is severely sore, can hardly swallow, was given Amoxicillin for earache but only so far took one pill. I’ve gotten worse since this morning. What a wonderful emergency department. Dr. Sarah was so kind and amazing. Nicole and Kyle were my nurses and they were very kind and attentive. I’ve never been to an emergency department so caring.

I was in this location on 9/6/25 and have nothing but good things to say. It seems like most people don't know this facility is open yet so I was seen instantly. Everyone was very nice and understanding of what I was going through. I can't say though good things about Rachel, Brad, and Dr. Viteritti. I'm glad we now have a local option for Doctor's Hospital in Venice!
