After reading comments, and having a Friend in there now, I would not bring my pet there. very sad. If it was my Family being treated as some that i read about and what i heard today on the phone, working for an Attorney I would file a lawsuit. Some hospitals think they are untouchable, sooooo wrong.
Outpatient surgery with nurse ratchet aka Cindy! How do you become a nurse and take an othe to protect your patients? You kick them out and bully them out of recovery before they are even ready. I'm sick to my stomach on how I was treated after my surgery!

RecommendedAdmitting lady was VERY RUDE and treated my husband and I so poorly that my husband almost cancelled his procedure due to being treated so badly. My husband has cancer and needed this surgery to start his treatment. This has been a horrible ordeal but dealing with a cold hearted women just makes matters worse. RecommendedI’ve had a lot of health issues the last couple of years and each time I received excellent care at SLMC. My husband was hospitalized two weeks ago and also received exceptional care in the ER and the 3rd floor staff was great !
I have been trying to reach someone, anyone for that matter, regarding concerns with a bill post surgery. I have left voicemails for the last 3 1/2 weeks without a return call. I’m not sure what is going on with patient satisfaction. Employees cannot be that busy that they cannot return the countless voicemails I have left. Even reached out to patient advocates without success.
RecommendedHubby has hip replacement 02-14-2019. Now issues with incision, not fault of anyone. Dr Hruska told him to go to ER and get admitted. intake person was RUDE beyond belief. And hubby had to wait more then 4 hours just to get back into hospital for surgery tomorrow morning. Guy came in to get insurance information- like they didn't get on 02-07-2019 at seminar intake pre-surgery! we have Medicare and Tricare for life. He wanted hubby's VA info but should never have asked! VA is NOT insurance and had nothing to do with surgery ... read more
