I'd leave 0 stars if I could. Waited 6 hours in the emergency room, multiple tests run, zero concerns addressed, and no answers. This is the second time I've had issues with them, whether it's poor communication, or just lack of care to take care of people. I should've taken it as a sign the first time I had a bad experience when they tried to perform a gull gladder removal twice, because it was not communicated that the surgery had been done already. ER care was excellent. Once I was moved to the regular hospital, even though I was diagnosed with pnuemonia in the ER, they went down a rabbit hole regarding a TB diagnosis. I have ZERO risk factors for TB and live in an area in the US that typically gets 12 or less cases a year, but for three days they kept bringing it up and they still insisted on tests and costs that were unneccessary to rule out TB. I was a little annoyed at first on how slow the process was but what changed everything was my nurse on the 2nd floor Chelsea Sharp. That woman is amazing and deserves so much more. She was so kind, understanding and made me feel seen which is rare at big hospitals. Dont ever lose that woman, she is gold.
