I came in last night with complications of a chronic illness that needed attention. It’s not a common diagnosis so I’m always apprehensive to seek medical attention and tend to let it go until it’s awful because of some medical professionals not knowing what it is, how to treat it, or even bothering for me to explain it. I visited HCA West Florida yesterday after collapsing due to low blood pressure, which also resulted in a foot injury (photo in comments). X-rays were taken, but I was told it was difficult to identify any issues because of the surrounding tendons and ligaments. My foot was loosely wrapped, and I was discharged without clear instructions or a clear follow-up plan. Once in they make sure you fill out all this stuff obviously to get paid but worse they go and see people while you have been there longer waiting for someone to show up . Terrible service nurses suck !

The doctors and nurses were very considerate of my husband's feelings. The doctor listened and talked to him about a treatment plan. They had a bill sent to my email before we ever left (my deductible) and then sent the same bill the next day like I was going to pay it twice. When I called the man said they don't bill out until 5-7 day so they can get all the test accounted for. NOT TRUE! That part I didn't appreciate.
