RecommendedHad a wonderful experience there. Everyone was so professional and kind.
So for the second time we have been to the ER here over the past 5 years, and for the second time we have been in a room with leftover trash and blood spots all over the floor. I mean I don’t think there’s much left to be said besides the 5 hours and maybe 2 visits from the doctors/nurses. I understand there busy but then I hear nurses/doctors talking about school or there next vacation. Plus the fact that everyone here seems miserable. Great care, clean, and the nurses were great! I definitely prefer Englewood Hospital over Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte. I really disliked the doctor who was in charge of the rehab unit. Totally uncaring about the amount of pain I was in from my broken hip. I was screaming and crying about how bad the pain was. I have a very low tolerance to pain. He would not increase my pain medication!! He was afraid I’d fall again. I was basically bedridden. Anyway, I hope I will never have to go back there!
On Wednesday, February 20, 2019, my 92 year old father took a fall with a bump to his head. I am so happy we went here. The care he got was amazing. From Jim who brought us in, to Alexandra to our doctor, everyone was amazing. Thank you for being so fantastic.

My wife took me to the ER on Jan. 2, 2019 for stroke symptoms.was treated very professionally. Once admitted, my nurse was very kind a caring. They got me through a lot of testing with ease...waiting on billing to see if the VA is following up..
