My husband was a patient at North Florida Hospital twice, and both times was treated care and respect. The employees are helpful and caring. All of them. My husband's doctor was Dr Gray, Orthopedic Surgeon. We have never been treated so well by a doctor. You know he cares about his patients. To him you are a person needing help and not just another number in his file. He and his assistant, Javier, are amazing. We cannot praise them enough. Hello. This past Memorial Day (May 25, 2025), my son suffered a heart attack around 10:00 a.m. while at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville. According to the emergency department staff, it was nothing—just a muscle strain—even though he was experiencing severe back pain, cold sweats, and chest pain. He was admitted to a ward, where they performed EKGs (4) which revealed that he had suffered a heart attack in the posterior section of his heart. I will NEVER go back to this hospital again! I went in May 11th, 2026 from a cat bite. I called an ambulance Rescue Unit #5 took me due to 103 fever. They lost my Mothers cross that was 42 years old. i do remember someone telling me they are putting my bracelet in my purse (and it was there) then WHY didn't my mom's cross with diamonds get put in the same place. They said they gave me the necklace in my hand. I rememebre someone telling me they are putting it right there on the counter. I don't even know where I was at ... read more

I have dealt with this hospital a couple times and the attention here and get real information is shotty . You get a different answer and they moved my wife from university to Aventura because they don’t have a Gi team at University and it turned out she didn’t have a GI problem . This hospital does unnecessary procedures with out giving family a reason or alert ahead of time . By far the worst hospital I have dealt with in Florida

I was in emergency room on 05/04/2026. I fell badly om parking lot and bruised my hand, knee and right side of ribs. I had very strong pain. Xray shows that possible no fracture. But sever soft damages Xray did not shows. Emergency doctor C. Gianopulos DID NOT FIND even 1 MINUTE to examine me!!! I did not get any CD with Xray. I did not get any doctors notes in the discharge report. They even did not give me pain killer med on side. My attempts to talk to doctor were blocked by nurse in a very rude way. This was one of the worst hospitals I have ever been in.  Nurses provided terrible patient care.  Had me on wrong blood pressure medication for 4 days & wondering why my pressure was high.  Ring call bell for pain, water or medication requests proved they were unresponsive or just didn’t care about patients welfare.  It’s a trauma hospital with poor quality review. It truly was like being in a prison camp while nurses ignored all of your requests as long as possible. Nobody knew anything and was in pain for hours before they... read more
