I took my 4 year old to the ER last night. He never complains or cries and last night he was beside himself hysterical. He begged me to take him to the hospital. He said that he was hearing noises and he was hot and then cold and just miserable. He had been given an oral steroid last week for the Croup and had just finished it. They checked his ears and his breathing, gave him Tylenol and sent us home saying that the steroids sometimes make kids act crazy. When he woke up in the morning his hysteria continued. This took a lot of consideration, but has to be told as a PSA! Brandon Regional Hospital has BEDBUGS! It was proven and verified. Courtney's mother spent 6 days in the cardiac unit and came home with what she thought were mosquito bites. Upon inspection she went to Dr who sent her there and they verified yes these are BEDBUG bites. In the meantime I called BRH told them our observation, after talking to a couple different people I was given to the Supervising Nurse of the unit (cardiac) she was last in. I was in extreme pain and made to sit in the waiting room for 3 hours, was there almost 6 hours before a Dr saw me. Would push the button for pain and wait an hour before anyone came in to check.

This is the worset hospital ever, all the times I visited there , they treated me like I was lieing and I wasn't. They do not feel what I feel so they wouldn't know. I went in for a hurt right foot and I clearly told them my right foot was in pain and my pain level was a 10 what they do, the xray the right knee!!!!! When it was my foot. And what did it turn out to be? A fricure in my right foot that I was forced to walk around on and do more damage because they called me a lier and sent me home with ibuprofen, I needed surge... read more

Came in last Tues. night during the World Series, The Admittance waiting room was pretty backed up, but I was still thru the process in very short order, I'm still here on Saturday await further testing, Doctors are gracious, understanding and thorough, the Food is good, and the Nurses on fl #A-3 are all "Angels of Mercy," I can't begin to say enough kind words about these amazing wonderful ladies who always arrive with a smile on their face, and are willing to not only take the time to explain what's going on with your care... read more

Last month my mom was in the hospital for 5 days. Housekeeping dept threw out my moms dentures (which were in the container they provided) while cleaning the room from another patient being released. They refuse to give any assistance in replacing her dentures. Ridiculous!!!!
