My name is Kenneth L. Passinault. I was a patient from 7/3 to 7/7 on 9 North, room 906. The staff was outstanding. Recognizing Veronica, Yomary and Josette. I believe the staff and doctors saved my life. I had an emergency AICD replacement and Aventura Hospital made sure everything went smoothly and efficiently. Pre-op and the operation I felt no fear knowing I was getting the best care in Florida. Thank you ALL!!! Kenneth

Charge Nurse Vanessa who worked on the 9th Floor in the North Tower on 8/3/22 was very unfair and not very nurse friendly. The hospital was uncleaned and the treatment was unfair. When dealing with the sick you should show some compassion, she has none. The nurse talk among themselves not caring if a patient can hear the negative things that are being said. By all accounts this hospital needs to be closed down and the Joint Commission do a COMPLETE review of the practices of the doctors and hospital. My fiancé was admitted with bilateral pneumonia, treatment would have been better in a third world country. My fiancé had to explain to the doctors and nursing staff how to treat her and beg for the medication that the doctor ordered. I just left the Aventura hospital with my young nonverbal Autistic son.The surgeon and doctors were wonderful! But I must report the poor nursing skills on the Sixth floor south. The nurse Never called for physio ! Never called me during his stay even when transferred ! Never had my son go to the restrooms even after 10 days after the surgery date ! Very disorganized and unprofessional. This is mom’s second stay. I would avoid this hospital for all but very limited specialized departments. And then get out ASAP.

I recently had surgery done by Dr. J. Hydes and his team from Miami Spine at Aventura hospital. The staff were really professional from my check in, during my stay to my release. Dr. Haim Sahlon , Dr. Grimball, Nurses Oksana, Dorothie and Keitofski thank you along with your teams, Thank you for taking good care of me and Therapist Glomiar Vega and Dimitri Richardson. For those whose names I didn't get thank you.

I fell off a ladder and thought just my ankle was broken but it turned out it was my leg and knee was also broken. The orthopedic team at Aventura we’re amazing and put me back together. I am so grateful to them. While recovering the nurses were so kind and caring. Aventura hospital is first class as far as I experienced.

It’s the first time that I’m admitted here and I have to say that is the best place so far. I’ve been in a lot of hospitals all my life because of my asthma condition but here the service that the nurse, doctor, cna... everyone always have what you need. Thank you for everything and I hope to go home soon. But If the time come and i have to go back to a hospital... of course I’ll come back. Thank you!!!🤗
