I was recently admitted to the ER after falling and breaking my ankle. Admittedly the entrance process could have been better. The front desk lady wasn’t the kindest and insisted I have to get up and come to the window to sign when I was clearly in distress with a broken limb. Couldn’t bring me a clipboard or anything. Ok fine. Got past that. Once back Dr. Bogey and the whole team took excellent care of me. Professional and knowledgeable while kind and caring. We were in because my grown daughter got clawed by our rooster. The staff was phenomenal, percent!
Honestly they do not care if you are in pain. Been having extreme pain and back pain and numbness and had chest pain, had to keep coming back because my doctor insisted to go get checked out if I was in so much pain because I couldn’t get a doctors appointment. I was instructed to go to the emergency room. Apparently, Dr. Bogey Thought I was only there for drugs when I wasn’t and I made it very clear that I wasn’t there for Pain medication. I was taken there by ambulance while in er my husband brought my emotional support pet in an enclosed stroller. He was denied entrance because he had my service pet. He explained the situation and my dogs status if service animal. He was told to leave and the nurse was very rude called security after the security guard searched my dogs back pack and stroller and my husband they were told to leave. ve been there so I want to clarify that this is for the sheer incompetence that occupies the front desk of the ER. How inept must you be at your job to fail so miserably in such a consistent basis, is it a lack of training, job knowledge, or just lack of empathy that drives this terrible customer service provided by all of the front desk staff.
