Never and I mean never if you have a love one never never send them here for mental health reasons they are horrible horrible people they talk about them like dogs worse treatment ever ever and throw people down and make them take shots that doesn't agree with them these people need sued in the worse way am in the process of it these are horrible people period need fired please don't send your love ones here please if you care about them negative negative negative negative star

EXCELLENT CARE GIVEN TO US. We went to Dr. Appointment with Dr. Shoptaw thinking he'd schedule surgery date at a later time. We were over 2 hours ftom home. My husband was unexpectedly admitted that day. Surgery the following morning. We didn't bring anything to be prepared for this. They saw to our every need and above. Can't say enough about the care,from Drs, nurses, aides, absolutely everyone. We've been to St.marys, Cabel Huntington,Uk,PMC. Nothing bad to say to them but never got the assistance and care like Hazard ARH... read more

If I could give this place a negative star I would. They released my mom who was literally on her death bed and sepsis. She could have died on us. We took her to Pikeville if it wasnt for their hospital it would be a different outcome. Stay away from this place if you care about your loved ones. A little farther drive but worth it for the care she received in Pikeville.
