The Texas Melt was fantastic!
Very good. Had a great time, food was delicious.
Have only eaten there once but have gotten take out several times. It is a little different than your run of the mill bbq joint. They claim to have no fryer, freezer, or microwave so all their sides and dessert are fresh made. This also means no french fries for the kids. I have tried the brisket and pork. Both are good but the ribs, which have dry rub with a little bite, are what I keep coming back to. The regular sauce leans western but not as sweet nor thick. The BEST food.
If you are planning a visit to the Smokey Mountains or Western NC area you must stop here for the BEST smoked chopped pork, brisket that falls apart, smoked turkey breast, ribs and the sides...outstanding. Everything is cooked daily...and plan to go early to make sure they don't run out bc they do. Owners are AWESOME and you will feel like you are family. Can't say enough about. Thanks so much for a great time in your restaurant, we will see you in May.
