Went to the Haywood Regional emergency room vis ambulance in December 2024. I had went to this hospital about 15 years ago and my visit was phenomenal. It is anything but that now. No one seem happy doing their jobs. Short and curt to the point, Zero bedside manners. The real kicker for me is a got a collection notice from Capio Partners Collection Agency. It's not a hospital, it's a corporation. It used to be one of the best hospitals, now it's all about the bottom line. The doctors introduce themselves as hospitalists. They are on the same track as Mission Hospital. During a recent stay at Haywood Regional, my husband was sent back to a health care facility with MRSA, sepsis, and pneumonia.
