My mom’s hospice journey was only two weeks. However in that short amount of time, Stephanie became like family. She won over my mom instantly and gave me the confidence to honor mom’s wishes and keep her at home in her own bed. The pain management was so helpful, that I wish mom would have agreed to allow them to come two months earlier, when Dr Wolf first suggested it. The last 5 days were especially hard. Excellent Hospice & Palliative Care for my Daddy. These ladies, and gentlemen, go above, and beyond, for your loved one. They truly become a part of your family in everyway!! I truly cannot say enough good things about Haywood Hospice and all the wonderful people who work there. My mother entered hospice in January and passed in March of this year. I don’t know how we would have navigated that time without Haywood Hospice. Everyone showed so much love and care not only to my mother, but to each family member.
