Haystack is in my top 5 favorite burger places in Dallas �
I've lived in the Dallas area over 30 years. After reading about Haystack on Yelp, I decided it might be a good spot for a birthday burger for my husband, who is a burger enthusiast. This was the best burger I've had in Dallas after all these years! Husband was happy too. Next time I might ask for the fries to be lightly salted. But otherwise, three thumbs up!
The Burgers are awesome and they always have a great selection of beer. My wife loves the Haymaker. Gabby is one of the best managers there. We are there almost once a week. The crew is fast, friendly, and courteous.
For a counter order joint, the service is awesome. Burgers were cooked to order (even med rare) and the ingredients are great. A very nice selection of draft as well and bottle/can beer. This definitely makes our list of top 10 burger joints in the DFDUB. I mean they have Peticolas beer so they can’t be all bad.
Seating situation is a disaster!!! No complaints otherwise

Just came here for the first time today and was very happy with not only the food but the service! I really liked the Chicken Fried Burger and the Nana Pudding! So good! The staff was very friendly and they made sure we were happy with our food and checked on us several times. We will definitely be back again!
Great food and the nicest service! The owner was there service food and helping that. She stopped and talked to us. I love that.
Never had a bad meal there, friendly staff. Burgers are great too and the salads are overly generous for healthy option.
