At first I was working with Joe then he unexpectedly had to go back to the hospital and my schedule he had me on the staff is changing it on me I’m currently dealing with a herniated disc lower right side it seems my progress is going backwards instead of forward I don’t know what to do living 30 miles from town is hard traveling there.
This clinic schedules unneeded appointments and fraudulently wastes Veterans Affairs resources and delays surgical intervention needlessly for disabled veterans. I should have been called to schedule surgery in October and it is now January of the following year. At the last appointment my provider apologized that I had not been called to schedule surgery, which was on December 19th. It is now January 1st and no calls have been made on the clinic’s behalf.
I’ll start this by saying I’ve never had a bad experience with hays med and the surgeon Dr. Andrew Chan and his Assistant Dr. Sam are fantastic doctors the entire staff at the main hospital are amazing but this clinic is seriously lacking in the administration area and could use some real improvement so my 2 stars will remain until I see some improvement.
I had a total knee last year at Hays Med with therapy post op. Everyone from admissions , nursing care, physical Therapy, etc were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable , etc. A couple of months ago I had hand surgery and all the care and follow-ups were the same. I give 2- 5 stars. Reviews.
HaysMed the University of Kansas Health System Orthopedic Institute has a 3.1 star rating with 18 reviews.
HaysMed the University of Kansas Health System Orthopedic Institute is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
