Very unprofessional place. I lived in one of their properties for 4 yrs and they sent me a MASSIVE bill for "cleaning services". I cleaned the place excellently. Took pics myself, at move out, to prove the condition of the apt. Tried to deal with corporate office....they repeatedly ignored my emails, etc. Had to get BBB (better business Bureau) involved to resolve. The apts themselves are nice. However, between the consistent staff turnover and the horrible business practices I would caution anyone to rent from them!

When you hear a favorable review about Hayloft Properties please consider it is either a current employee posing as a tenant or it's that one rare tenant that hasn't had an issue YET or hasn't move out YET when their lease is up. The month of any apartment can seem decent but give it time and Hayloft will deceitfully procure your money in many ways. Being charged the price of a brand new screen door when a tear in the screen occurs?...The door is fine..replace the screen and that is fair. Why should I pay for an entire door?... read more

I've lived at Lexington Estates in Sioux Falls for over a year now and I am so pleased with the level of professionalism of the management and maintenance staff. If something isn't working properly, maintenance is prompt and courteous. I love the indoor and outdoor pools! I can see myself living here for quite some time.

I have lived here for over 5 years, and I've finally had enough of their rudeness! Ppl at the office are uncaring and rude! Just today the Regional Manager Brent Brooks (does he own the building?) If so- then who do we come to, when the OWNER yells at your 15 year old daughter, for entering the apartment through the patio door?! And when I joined in on the conversation He yelled at me, at the top of his lungs! And threatened me, by saying ; " You won't make it here till ur lease ends!" NEVER live at Carrington Court Apartments in Burnsville MN. The property is managed by Hayloft Property Management and they are the most uncaring, abusive management team I have ever seen in my life. They don t care if your carpet or appliances don t work and do will do whatever they can to avoid replacing them. The indoor pool and hot tub (that we pay for in our rent!) has been out of commission for 2 months and the reason it s not getting fixed is because they think it s too expensive to hire a contractor and their mainten... read more

James Henneberry Would like closure on your part.... You still don't know all the facts, you just jumped on what Dawn said...know what she lied to you too. Remember when I had to go to Shane Wilson's apt ( still comes to the office by the way,) oh he had a felony on his record, had to go in his apartment and fight for the phone..he through it and broke, you paid for a new one, Did Dawn call Todd? I would like to first start out by saying that the management has gotten 10,000 times better then what it was before... the office people actually seem like they really care. If there is something that needs to be corrected they make sure that they completed it as fast as possible and correctly. I just moved here to East Hampton a couple months ago and I could not be happier. I feel like I got a real home not just an apartment. They work really hard to make sure that the place looks nice and clean which is what I really look... read more
