Hayes Jewelers is, in my opinion, the worst jewelry store in Mobile County PERIOD… Mary seems to only cater to the older community, showing no interest in younger generations. I came in for the first time following a rude experience at Lou's Jewelers, which has also gone downhill in customer service. What happened to caring for EVERY customer? Very friendly staff! I had my wedding ring redone and it turned out great!
My husband & I went to have my wedding rings sautered together. Immediately the lady examined the ring & took to jeweler & informed us of the imperfections in the stones on my ring 😡 This was very RUDE to do so & then had no idea how to price the service. She was charging for each ring individually.. what the heck 🤨 Then tried to sell us a new ring !!! Went to another jewelry store (KaratPatch)& had no problems & less than half the price.Highly recommend them! She was very condescending & we will not be back .
I brought a Bulova Accutron watch in for repair & was told it would cost a min of $900...I got the impression Hayes did not want to be bothered with the repair as the reason for the excessive estimate...
I was referred to Hayes by my preferred jeweler for a repair requiring their equipment. While I never met Marshall, whom I was specifically referred to, the front desk dismissed my other pieces as unrepairable—with a condescending tone and lack of tact, considering the sentimentality of the piece.
