I have lived in HIMHC for over 8 years. As a whole it is a wonderful place to live. The space rent is very reasonable. The park itself is quite secure and safe. We have both security and police patrolling our community daily. (There are people that come off the street (because it is not gated)and through the community that sometimes cause problems, & there are those that take drugs here, & have lived here a long time. The Best Place To Call Home I have lived here for five years. As a whole it is a quiet, beautiful, and very happy community to live in. Neighbors are kind and helpful to one another, and in many ways it is a "small town of yesterday" like Mayberry. Near Jantzen Beach, shopping mall, major stores, Barnes & Nobel, Starbucks, Home Depot , hotels, restaurants, and recreation. Business response:
This is a fake review. First off, Portland Crime Mapper shows from 150-300 crimes committed in this area per year. Drugs are an issue. I have been solicited by drugees more than once. There are people in the park who sell drugs. It is not secure. It is not quiet, jets and airliners travel straight above. Explosions from nearby industrial complex shake the whole island and air canons punctuate the air with their explosions to scare birds off the bridge.
