So I got married last night. We sat down months ago to discuss our wedding cake. It was supposed to be a model of the Normandy SR2 space ship we provided and it was going to be made out of Rice Krispies and fondant on top of our chocolate and raspberry cream filled cake. You guys just made the cake and stuck the plastic model on top. You made my wedding cake look like a 9 year olds birthday cake. If you can't or won't make a Wedding cake to the customer's specifications, don't tell them you can. Connor and Lina's could have been purchased somewhere else and they would have gotten what they wanted for their special day! I know my family and I won't be doing business here and I'll make sure my friends don't either.

A very good friend gave us some of his king cake last year and again this year, we had never tried it before or heard of it, but now we love it and next year it is our turn to buy the king cake. Drove over from Gulfport and bought a King Cake.....this was the best I've ever had ! My family wants me to drive back this week for another.
One of my favorite things about Haydel's is that they include the shipping cost in the price of the cake. You're not sticker-shocked when you're going to check out. And while their king cakes are wonderfully delicious, their chocolate doberge cake is decadent, rich, and excellent beyond description. I recommend Haydel's all the time to my fellow LA expats.
They make the best king cakes ever! Carnival season is my favorite time of year!
