Sushi connoisseur here..... love this place. Officially have my own roll without rice called the "Georgia roll"......gotta keep my figure and still eat sushi!!!!! I highly recommend this place!
We have enjoyed each visit for great Sushi and Sake.
I don't normally write negative reviews but for a 25.00 meal, I thought I would. Specifically asked for extra rice and no vegetables (allergic to mushrooms). I also asked that the chicken be cooked well done. Mind you, I'm one if three people there at the time. My food came out, vegetables and mushrooms everywhere, rice was wet and mushy, undercooked chicken (even after I sent it back to be cooked longer). Staff was nice but I can get a better meal the way I like it at Hibachi Japan near Walmart. Will not return.
Staff are friendly and very concientious. Food is great and atmosphere easy going! Love dining here every time we are in Raleigh!!
Hayashi has always had the best Japanese cuisine in the area. So I was rather disappointed tonight when I had to choose to leave after waiting to be sat at a table. I watched as two other groups came in after us, who were "regulars", that received preferential treatment and were sat before us. One of the people in the second group even asked if we had already put our names in (likely because he couldn't figure out why we weren't seated either). After tonight's experience, I can say I won't be back. Very disappointing.
Absolutely the best place to get sushi!!!!! Love it every time:-)
