The students had to pay $300 for a non-refundable move-out fee for “Internal Community Costs” ?? When you move out you have a check list. You can either clean the townhome and hire someone else to clean your carpets or have them do it. It states that they charge $350 for carpet cleaning. They quoted us $740 for everything, but since they are replacing all the carpets they only charged us $630 for cleaning!!! Some how that doesn’t add up. I would give this place a zero rating if it allowed me. Hawthorne townhomes does not provide adequate parking for both the residents who stay here and anyone hoping to visit. They provide 2 parking spots for each three person townhome. There is no available street parking as well as no signs posted designating where you can and cannot park. They are in contract with absolute towing company and will tow your car away with no warning or chance to move your vehicle.
