FALSE ADVERTISING !!!!!!FOR EGRET LANDING CALABASH NC. started renting here in July 2026 picked this place because it had fenced in yards for my two dogs, visited the place in August 20, 2026. There was no fence up yet spoke to the woman in charge Amber who said that by the time we come back in September the fence would be up. The fence is still not up 9/22/2026. This is false advertising. The Legacy in Lake Charles is disgusting. When we moved in, I had to shampoo the carpets-each room 4 times; it was that dirty. Then, the termites came. We came here for the pool and dog park. The pool stays closed and dirty and there is so much dog poop we can't bring our dogs. The neighbors wake us up all night, and they do nothing about it-THE STAFF IS INCOMPETENT and rude. i put in a maintenance request for broken a/c and my apartment has been 90 degrees for nearly a week. the previous managing firm at my apartment would have maintenance requests solved within a day. i'm sick of new managing firms who are apathetic to residents and only care about their bottom line coming in every few months
