I like living here I moved to Yellow Springs back in the winter and looked at several places, both apartments and houses for rent before deciding on Hawthorne Place. I like living here. The rent is reasonable, especially since this is a trendy and "up and coming" area. My apartment was spotless when I moved in. Nice apartment in GREAT location I just signed my second lease at Hawthorne Place Apartments. Yellow Springs is a great place to live. This apartment complex is in a great location. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and everyone is friendly. The apartment was in great condition upon move in. Every maintenance concern I have had since moving in has been satisfied in a reasonable amount of time and management has been very easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend living at this property.
Live Somewhere Else Terrible property with bad management. If you're looking to live in Yellow Springs don't sign a lease here. The apartments are not cleaned or painted between owners, the stairways DO NOT have railings, the wallpaper is old and dirty, and there are mice and other insects. The landlord is completely absentee and unresponsive to complaints including the heat being off in the dead of winter.
