Just moved last week! The staff is attentive and thoughtful. The one bedroom is great. The thermostat is pretty old, but everything else makes up for it. The closet space is huge. You could fit a twin mattress for sure. The rest of the apartment is huge as well. The balcony is nice and the extra storage space is an added bonus.

This was supposed to be a relocation rental for 30 days. Maybe they haven’t renovated all their apartments but the pictures on their site are not representative of the apartment they tried to give us. The place was disgusting. Carpet smelled, painted over stains that weren’t cleaned, roaches, wood rotting, cabinets and drawers were greasy. It looked like something that was built in the 80s. Within 5 minutes of being in the apartment we refused to live there.

I lived at Hawthorne for three years and enjoyed all of my time there. I never had an issue with management, maintenance or neighbors!!! Management always found a solution for any issue and maintenance was very timely and friendly. They always seemed to try to keep up with the grounds and landscaping during the changing seasons as well. It felt like a good community to live in and I feel confident recommending this place to people.
