It’s supposed to be a gated neighborhood. The gate hasn’t been working for 3+years. Ppl come all the time and dumpster dive . Then leaving garbage everywhere . one of my Amazon packages got delivered to the wrong address. The resident refused to give me my package . I let Hawthorne management know what happened . They stopped answering my calls and have not resolved this issue.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Whether you buy or rent, it is not worth the hassle. The “HOA” is a joke, and is run by the property management (that has changed 3 times in 3 years might I add) and owners get no say. The amenities are useless and never work, parking is a nightmare because no one wants to utilize the visitor parking 3 miles down the road, trash is constantly overflowing, geese are out of control, and the property management will not call you back ever.
