This is the most amazing place to stay for our visit to my home town Newport. I am a "5th Warder" as are Terri & Mike, who lived across the street from me when we were kids. Their hospitality, warmth and kindness went beyond anything I expected. Our accommodations were impeccable, beautifully decorated and supplied with everything needed for a wonderful stay in Newport. 5 stars all around! Mike and Terri (hosts of Hawthorne House of Newport) truly go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay in Newport. My family (partner and 2 young kids) have been visiting each summer for the past several years and will continue to do so. We feel lucky to have found this gem and would recommend it without reservation to anyone - especially families - looking for a wonderful place to stay in Newport that's close to everything but still peaceful and quiet.
