Absolutely beautiful and haunted!
The rooms are small but clean and comfortable.
Based on location alone this is the best place to stay. Everything to do with Salem is within walking distance. I had a king room and it was the perfect size for 2 people. Huge closet and plenty of space for luggage. About half the size of newer hotel rooms but it was fine for us! The room was very clean, water pressure was good, and so was the ac. I never felt too hot but some nights it was a tad warm as the thermostat only went as low as 66 (imo it felt closer to 69). If you face the street it is NOISY. Loud cars, beeping ... read more
Fantastic historical hotel within walking distance of many attractions. Also, has a large parking lot, as parking is Salem is hard to find.
the BEST chicken and waffles i ever had in my life, 4 years later and i still think about it. and such an old hotel full of character and charm. love love love
