My wife and I were in the Shelley location in a 3 bed 2 bath unit. The unit itself was nice. We signed the lease a few weeks prior to moving in and pointed out some maintenance issues to be fixed before we moved in such as a hanging smoke detector and dysfunctional dead bolt and door latch on the front door. We later noticed there were several other issues of poor maintenance and disrepair: wobbly toilet, loose cabinet hinges, poor attempts to patch holes (walls looked awful), no caulking around the master bath sink, half br... read more
I lived in the Shelley location for three years with no issue. When I moved out, Jamie Carlson the property manager continuously harassed me, charged me illegal charges, and traumatized myself and two young children to the point of legal action. The property had 0 maintenance and the entire lot is constantly covered with animal feces, trash, and damaged signs. This was without a doubt the worst rental experience I ever experienced and would not recommend every considering renting from Hawthorne Gardens.
me and my 2 kids were in emergency situation to find a place and Jamie is amazing i called and applied and now we are finally getting a place. a huge stress relief thank you Jamie for giving me a chance to live here i wont let you down i appreciate all you did for me and my kids today thank you cant wait to move in
