The landlord unlocked my door and walked in without knocking or providing any notice on multiple occasions. On two occasions, she walked in on me while I was undressed. Ownership did nothing except make provably false excuses. Worst management I’ve ever come across.
I’ve lived here for 6 months and they have been very helpful and attentive!
Hawthorne has been under new management since Feb. 2025, and is much improved in contrast with the comments posted before then. Percy, the new property manager, did a stellar job in helping me navigate my move from a different state. His service could not have been better. The apartment I rented was cleaner than anywhere else I've lived. Same for the rest of the property. Basic services function great, and Percy responds ASAP whenever I have a question or need some help from him.
Really really bad place to live, yet i was unfortunately here for multiple years. There are constant break-ins and package thefts, the halls and elevator are usually dirty asf, nobody is EVER in the office if you need assistance, they frequently want access to your unit, but its still incredibly expensive. There are always sketchy things going on in front of the entrances (both front and back), half the balconies face directly into your neighbor's windows, and the Internet wires were frayed within the walls of my unit, so th... read more
Disgusting predatory management. Moved into a room in disgusting quality. Moved out and was charged for repairing said disgusting room. Not worth it for the money, and there are countless screaming homeless on the street at night. Look elsewhere
