From start to finish, the most friendly empathetic people you could ever want while going through a surgery. The nurses were exceptional. Excellent job and thank you Hawthorne surgery center

Wonderful experience from admission through discharge. Staff was kind and knowledgeable. Communication was fantastic. So thankful for the care I received

Let me start with the positives. The center was clean and the staff in the actual surgery part of the center were fantastic. Caring, funny, and calming. Now the negative. 40 minutes before leaving for surgery, I received a phone call demanding the entire payment of my $3,400 deductible. I laughed, and said that was just not plausible. They "settled" for $850 after I was in tears. I kept telling them that my multiple visits and CT scan pre-surgery would surely take care of most of my deductible. No care about it. I felt like a VIP! This was my first surgery and every single staff member was incredibly accommodating and kind. I was sent home with a sweet card signed by some of the staff and didn’t feel that I was rushed out at all. thank you all so much!!

Had a kidney stone removal procedure done today with Dr. Patel and was so nervous. The staff here, from the check-in to the discharge, everyone was amazing! Reception, intake, nurses, doctors, etc. made this day so much better for me. I imagine nobody likes to have surgery, but if you have to do it and have the chance to do it at Hawthorn, I highly recommend.
