We’ve had a great experience with Hawthorn Pediatrics, especially compared to a previous experience at Boston Children’s. During a recent ultrasound, the technician here was amazing—so patient, kind, and made the entire process much easier for my son. We also love our pediatrician, Dr. Martin. She is thorough, caring, and always takes the time to explain things clearly. The only area that could be improved is the lab experience. My son was tested for C Diff (due to symptoms and exposure). After 6 days of chronic diarrhea and no test results I asked for an antibiotic. He was treated with Flagyl. Today (2. 1/2 weeks from the test date) we received results. C Diff testing normally takes 2-4 days.
Took my baby to the children’s express 3 times in the past week and a half. Got told it was nothing each time and that it was normal. Have now been sitting in the ER for the last 4 hours after being told today it was “just an ear infection”. Do NOT take your children here just trust your instincts and go literally anywhere else
