I have been a patient for many many years there. Recently my appointment that I scheduled 6 months out was cancelled due to low staffing. I called back a couple weeks later to reschedule and was told they are not scheduling at this time due to low staff and the schedule not being done yet. They said they would call me back when they had more staff to schedule me. Months have gone by no one called me. Has canceled my appointments several times. Recently canceled appointment and never received call or text. Finding new oral dentist for future visits

The hygienist was very rough, the latest equipment for taking full mouth X-rays usually does not put sores in my mouth. She also stated one piece of equipment was broken, I would have preferred to reschedule than to have her go the old fashion way of scraping, poking, stabbing. I asked if she was almost thru & she said yes, but she continued on. I would prefer not to have her as my hygienist in the future. In the past I have always been pleased with the dental care at Hawthorne

I miss what Hawthorn Dental used to be before the staff turnover. I was always very comfortable and loved the dentists/hygienists. I called a couple months ago and the front desk told me they put me on a list of patients that need to be rescheduled and still haven't heard back. Now I can't even get a text response to schedule an appointment that I am way overdue on due to their cancelation.
