Expensive and noisy but they do have good appetizers.
Got the order for takeout was there on time waited 15 more minutes the fillets I ordered 8 oz.& A 10 ounce both were burned very chewy like rawhide would never eat there again or recommend it especially for a $65.00 bill plain and simple that restaurant sucks. And Doug if you got a comment for me you know how to get ahold of me!!!!!!
The service is good, food is delicious. A little expensive but worth it.
After my Grandfather's visitation the funeral home was kind enough to call Hawkeye's and have them get a table for 10. They told him it would be an hour wait and we agreed. After everyone had finally got to the restaurant and 45 minutes had elapsed we asked how much longer they thought it would be. A VERY rude and curt lady told us we had only been waiting 15 minutes and we were told an hour. The food is always great and the waitresses are exceptional. If we have out of State visiting we always go to the Hawkeye Restaurant because we know everyone will enjoy their food of choice. We love the early bird special also and the great salad bar. Ron and Ellen
