Hawaiian King is not a hotel. It is a condo where some residents live full time, some live part time (me) and some are here because some condo owners list on AirBnb or an equivalent site. Please understand it is, again, not a hotel because there is no hotel desk open (currently 3-5 weekdays) and real people live here. I am a new owner and love this place because it is a mix of regulars and visitors. Common areas are kept super clean but this structure dates from 1959 so is not particularly modern and is at best, carewarn. So... read more

We stayed here for a wedding, but unfortunately, the accommodations didn’t quite meet our needs. There was no iron provided, no closet to hang our outfits, and no full-length mirror, which made getting ready a bit challenging. There was also an unpleasant odor coming from the air vent during our stay. On the positive side, the location is great—everything is within walking distance, and it’s a good spot if you’re here just to relax and enjoy the beach. There was a homeless man who would come every day and yell about drugs and there was drunk people yelling but the hotel was good and overall nice

Worst hotel ever, me and my friends were staying there and got cursed by the staff twice, and by a resident. They told us to not come to Hawaii again and they hate tourists.
