We have used Hawaiian Airlines Cargo now 5 times for various pet shipping reasons. Every time there is anxiety but the most recent time, Hawaiian Airlines gate agent and baggage crew, went above and beyond to easy our nerves before take off. Billy was the gate agent for our flight from HNL to SFO on 10/16. I approached the gate desk and told them I appreciate how busy they are but that we have a dog traveling in cargo and would love to get a confirmation he was loaded and ok before take off. Moved my pets on Hawaiian Air Cargo. Series 700 Kennels and they wieght 100lbs a piece, cost $1000 per dog. Meh, not bad. The Live Animal Cargo Manager (title?). WAS. AWESOME. Tianna, she is the greatest. Hawaiian needs to give her a raise. She had to tell me no a couple times on stuff, but she did it SO nice. She found a path to YES and shipped our two dogs. Do not talk bad about her to me. I am forever grateful for all the help.
Had a wonderful experience today 4/8/24 shipping out my pug Loki, when you 1st get there they ask you to put your dog in kennel to get him weighed and then you fill out all necessary paperwork & pay for flight. Everyone we encountered was really nice. After they weighed Loki they gave him back to us for about 2 hours then it was time to put him in kennel again, we said our goodbyes & they also gave him water with ice.
