Dr Ryan Smith the best. He is my Cardiologist for the passed 6 years and is very knowledgeable and professional. Helped me determine the best defibrillator for the next 15 years. Mahalo.

I initially encountered Dr. Smith when he was the head of the Cardiology Department at Tripler Army Medical Center. After having a pacemaker implanted by a different, well reviewed Cardiologist in Hawaii when he chose not to answer questions which I posed to him concerning my treatment (after he had erred in placement of the pacemaker leads) I chose to change to Dr. Smith. A friend recommended Dr. Ryan Smith. I moved to Maui from Los Angeles, where I have a cardiologist, but needed one here to keep on doing my routine checks. When I met Dr. Smith I liked that he took his time to understand my history, which given I was a new patient made sense. Based on that he immediately had an ultrasound of my heart done - right then and there. I was impressed with him being attentive, and immediate.
