Had testing done at the Waimea offices and have not forwarded my results to my primary care physician or notified me of the results. Phone calls are not responded to. It has been 3 years. Im out $620 dollars and I did not even get a response to my condition.
Uncaring, Unprofessional, Judgmental. Charges $500-$600+ per visit!! If you are a cardiac patient on the Big Island, seek help elsewhere. This doctor is rude, unprofessional and not caring or kind. Depending on the visit and tests being done, each visit I went for was $450 -$600 billed to my insurance which I paid a good portion of. Also, just an FYI for Dr. Shikuma... Sad state of affairs....drove from Hilo for a 10:00 appointment. 4 Scheduled exams, and only one got done. Looks like there has been a major turnover in staff. They knew NOTHING about the other scheduled tests. Dr. Shikuma and the PAs nowhere in sight. What a fracking waste of time! So they want to charge $75.00 if we miss a test. I wonder if we get anything when they miss a test? Let's see....3 x $75 is like $225! YAY!
The girl in the front (JUSLYN) is awesome, she is very loving, caring, warm n kind hearted girl. n is a lot of help. I love her to death!!!
Dr. Shikuma is the BEST! He and his staff are awesome, very caring, and take great care with patients! I had a wonderful experience being a patient there!
