RED FLAG: They don't offer an accounting of their work; no breakdowns on frame, glass, mat, or labor. RED FLAG: We told them we wanted our piece floated. Upon leaning what that meant, they actually said: "that would show the edges". RED FLAG: They don't use spacers to protect art from the glass. We took our artwork to Haven’s because of their reputation. The frame and matboard selection went quickly, we knew exactly what we wanted. When we went to pick up the framed piece, there was no matboard. It was just framed. The second time they floated the artwork on top of the mat, as requested. But there were no spacers between the art and the glass. Havens said they would put spacers. It is standard industry practice so artwork does not stick to the glass.
