i’ve been at edgewood for 3 years, at first it was haven…when edgewood took over they fixed the parking lot, pool hadn’t been open since they took over 2-3 years ago. just got my renewal lease and will not be renewing. how my rent jump from 1650 to new rent price 1780 plus your billed a $145 building fee with rent! edgewood is not worth $1920 for a 2 bed 1 bath! They control your heat sometimes it’s super hot sometimes it’s freezing in your apartment. Only plus is that the leasing manager address all concerns !
Heating for entire building was out a week ago today. Weekend was very cold. The engagement manager Mr. Hakeem personally came out on Saturday. He went door to door to check on all the tenants in the building with space heaters in hand for those who chose to except one. He also shared updated information about the repair. Run the other way as fast as you can. We have been here for 4 years now and only renewed because we had no choice. This place used to be so nice when it was Haven apartments. It was reasonably priced, well ran, and communication was amazing. When Edgewood took over a few years ago, rent went up HUNDREDS of dollars every year at renewal. This place is now way too expensive for what little you get. The pool hasn’t been opened for the last 2 years with no compensation and constant excuses. Recently moved in a couple weeks ago and gotta say the work management and maintenance does is all around outstanding. Hakim from the beginning has been very communicative and considerate in ensuring the people moving in are happy in their new place to call home. Maintenance guys Terrell & Jose are clearly hard working in keeping everything in order as they are seen in varies spots around the complex doing different tasks throughout the day.
