Worst place to send someone. They only care about the state benefits they get out of you while you’re there. I was sick and asked for help and they didn’t want to pay for me to go get the help I needed told me to tough it out because they didn’t want to waste their money. They call them selves Christian’s but walk around the place cussing and making cruel jokes.
My relative was there and doing well by Haven House account. First time hes been sober in 15 years! He took a pack of thank you cards from the trash dumpster behind the thrift store and took them back to share with the other guys. He was dismissed for not following the rules! Doesn't seem so Christian to me!
I’m in college for my Social Work degree. One of my assignments is to call rehabilitation centers and ask for help as someone who is in addiction. I called this morning and the girl who answered the phone was so sweet! She had no idea that I was a college student, which tells me that she treats people struggling with addiction with kindness and respect. She was so helpful, explained everything and answered every question I had. I truly appreciate her!
One of your residents did the right thing. When they found a substitute that was dropped off for another residents in the house and brought it to you. Instead of you listening to them and maybe even doing a drug test on that residents that did the right thing you just kick them out. I'm not impressed. Sounds like to me that your rehab is full of drugs!!
Haven house saved my life has helped me with my faith and has tought me how to deal with my feelings in a positive way it offered a safe place to be my true self and not to feel judged
